Not exactly the solution I was looking for

Pluses
Looks good… it shows the conversation in chronological order and clearly shows whos "talking" so you can clearly follow the conversation.

Minuses
It stores the files by date versus by user. So I have 12 folders for 2011, one for each month, in each of these folders is a file for each date that there were text messages. I was hoping to have one file per contact the way my phone stores it.

Overall, it will work if you are desparate like I am for some sort of back up but it is not THE solution. Sigh… Why is it so hard to find an SMS back up solution. Anyway, good luck!
